“Inkeltje” is named after Pinkeltje, a beloved character from a classic Dutch children’s book by Dick Laan. Just like its namesake, Inkeltje is small, clever, and full of possibilities. Designed with input from Marieke Kranenburg, this compact inkle loom offers smart solutions for a variety of weaving situations.
Versatile and compact
- Short route for sample bands – Ideal for test pieces and small projects, with a warp length of approximately 1.15 meters (3.8 feet).
- Long route for longer bands – Suitable for weaving longer bands with a maximum warp length of approximately 1.8 meters (5.9 feet).
- Side cut-out: Makes it easy to create sheds with either hand.
- Tablet weaving – The top rod is removable, providing extra warp length for tablet weaving.
- Quick and easy to assemble – Thanks to the simple screw construction, the loom can be assembled in just 10 to 15 minutes.
- Suitable for both left- and right-handed weavers – The loom can be assembled from either side, making it comfortable for both left- and right-handed users.

- Velcro strap to keep your shuttle close at hand.
- End caps on the pegs to prevent the warp from slipping off.
- Rubber feet for extra stability during weaving.
- Comes with a small yellow shuttle with a sharp edge for beating.

- Tableclamp (optional): Inkeltje can be clamped to a table using a separate table clamp (not included).
Specifications
- Dimensions: 43 x 22 x 14 cm (17″ x 8.7″ x 5.5″ inches), pegs are 9 cm (3.5″) long with a diameter of 18 mm (0.7″). The tension peg has a diameter of 25 mm (1″), making it easy to tighten.
- Warp lengths: Short route approx. 1.15 m (45″), long route approx. 1.8 m (70¾”).
