If you've always wanted to learn to knit socks, then this is the workshop for you!
This three-session/three-week workshop will be held in our Studio at Unit 12, The Buttermarket in Enniskillen and by the end of it, you'll have earned yourself the title of Fully Fledged Sock Knitter!
Over the three sessions you'll learn about the construction of a knitted sock, from casting on with DPNs and the 'dreaded' heel turn, to decreasing for the toe and kitchener stitch. There'll be a bit of homework in between so that you're ready for the next session and by the end of the three weeks, you'll be totally confident about casting on a second sock.
The workshop will include all the materials you'll need to knit a pair of adult sized socks, as well as all the refreshments you can handle. Please let us know when booking if you have any special dietary requirements.
The workshop will run on three consecutive weeks from 2pm to 4.30pm at Unit 12, The Buttermarket, Enniskillen, and you must be able to attend all three sessions. 100% deposit is required at time of booking. Please provide your contact details when booking in case we need to contact you about the workshop!
A minimum of four students will be required for this workshop to run, and limited to a maximum of six.
