This wheel is available to pre-order with delivery expected between 1-2 weeks (but often it's much quicker than that!). You can choose to pay a 50% deposit when you order with the final balance due before shipping, or you can pay the full amount at time of ordering, it's up to you!

Buddy has 5 ratios (1:4 to 1:18) and an orifice of 18 or 12 mm. The 12 mm orifice insert (included) ensures that your thread does not wobble.
This spinning wheel has a double treadle. Operate it with both feet or with one foot.
Along with the Buddy spinning wheel, you'll also receive four bobbins and a stand-alone lazy kate that can hold three bobbins, with a bobbin capacity of about 200 grams, perfect for large projects.
The Buddy spinning wheel is made of solid beech and laminated beech and it's easy to assemble yourself.

The spinning wheel has Dutch tension - Irish tension improved by Jan Louët. The spinning wheel is bobbin-led, but the aerodynamic design of the flyer allows you to spin with very little pull on the yarn. As a result, Dutch tension is great for spinning both thin and thick yarns.
Another clever feature: sliding guides with an opening through which you effortlessly insert the yarn.
