We have two sizes available.
The 18 mm drop spindle weighs approximately 23 grams (0.05 lbs).
The 25 mm spinning top weighs approximately 29 grams (0.06 lbs).
Most of the weight is placed on the outer edge of the disc, allowing the spindles to spin longer while still being lightweight.
These drop spindles come as a DIY kit. This makes them easy to ship in a letterbox-sized package.
You can assemble the spindle normally, as a “top whorl” spindle. Or make it a “bottom whorl” spindle by securing the disc on the opposite end of the hook. On the shaft, use a pencil sharpener to create a point.
The package includes a small tool for assembly, sandpaper and an assembly and spinning guide.
